My name is María del Rosario Castañeda Guillen, but I am always known as Charo. I have lived in Malaga all my life, and did my degree here at the University.
After graduating from the Law Faculty at Malaga University, I worked for a company called Madese SA, which ran a network of petrol stations. After seven years there, where I learned a great deal and worked with some wonderful people, I felt I needed to broaden my horizons. I then worked with Jessica at Manuel Martin & Associates in Nerja for some months before we decided to open our own law firm in Málaga.
Since obtaining my degree, I have continued taking courses – I have a Master in “Prevención de Riesgos Laborales” (Health and Safety in the workplace) and diplomas in Family Law and Labour Law. I also have experience in National INsurance and Payroll structures. I speak and write English well.
Jessica and I are aware of how important it is to keep our studies up to date, and we attend courses organised by the Malaga Bar Associationl whenever we can. We consider this to be part of our obligation to ourselves and to our clients. We are also both part of the Legal Aid scheme.
